It always feels great and we feel special when people do good things to us. We feel great when we are appreciated by people. We sometimes forget who should get all the glory. The Bible asks us to be like Christ Jesus. To be selfless like christ takes alot of humility. It’s a level of humility that many people have not been able to attain.

As human beings it is in our nature to do things for ourselves. We want to receive more than we give. It is in our nature to want more for ourselves than for other. In this generation most especially you hear young people and even old say I want to do this for myself, even when giving is for yourself. That is what is called selfishness. And selfishness is a sin.

It might seem humility to say let me do this for God while God says do this not just for me but with me. Allow God work in you. Allow the HolySpirit to guide you to doing things in humility.

Stop doing things just for yourself. Look at the end benefit. How many people will benefit from what you’re doing. How many peope are going to be affected by your decision positively. You always want people to do good things for you how about you receprocate the same to others. It is more fulfilling and it pleases the lord when you do these things by faithfulness.
